Anarkik3DDesign is for designer-makers and applied artists.
It’s developed for the way we think and work. It is not CAD. It uses 3D haptics – haptics means touch.
With a Falcon haptic device you experience an amazing real-world sense of touch to make Anarkik3D’s hapticated digital 3D modelling software a joy to learn and use.
This touch and feel is not a buzz or rumble. You feel your model as a solid 3 dimensional object. This 3D touchability makes Anarkik3DDesign intuitive – easy and quick to learn and use. You can even teach yourself using our video tutorials and worksheets.
The full kit comprises:
- Anarkik3D’s own Cloud9 software
- Novint’s Falcon haptic device
- Online tutorials
- One-to-one workshops
Anarkik3DDesign runs on PC and MacBook Pro and is optimised for creating 3D printable models.

I had 3D printing already for quite some time in my mind as a possible new path of working but have always been held back because of the difficulty of programming. But with this program I saw how easy and direct one could work and how I could make all these organic forms I’m always looking for!

“It makes you feel like you are physically sculpting the objects in front of you.”
Genna, Contemporary Jeweller
“I think the program offers the right balance of intuitive creation mixed with parameters of control. Intuitive in the sense that it is connected to a 3D mouse and that it is easy to manage and learn the application. For me it is also a great advantage that the program is available for Mac too. The installation went quickly and easy without any problems. This is surprisingly exciting as the Falcon 3D mouse existed for Windows only.”

Anarkik3DDesign: Free form 3D digital modelling with 3D touch
Anarkik3DDesign 3D modelling system with virtual 3D touch is for you, particularly if you have struggled with 3D modelling software in the past (eg Rhino).
Straightforward controls allow you to work fluidly without losing your creative flow. You have full movement in 3 dimensions, plus a real sensation of 3D touch (haptics) making modelling a more natural and enjoyable experience.
The Falcon haptic device
Haptic means touch, a vital sense to make sense of 3D space.
The Falcon haptic device replaces your normal 2D mouse and gives a real sense of hardness, texture, and shape via ‘force feedback’.
It enables you to navigate the software’s three-dimensional space naturally as you can move the Falcon’s grasp in all directions. With the touch sensation you know where your models are in the space!
3D printing
Cloud9 hapticated 3D modelling software is optimised for 3D printing.
Once you have prototyped/designed your object you can 3D print it to produce a physical model. This video shows a necklace part 3D printed in red PLA filament on Anarkik3D’s desktop Ultimaker2+.
Commercially there is a range of 3D printing systems, materials and finishes. Colour options include dyed polyamide, multi-colour printing. The quality of 3D prints from the different service companies is pretty good.
